I interned at Leon White Design and contributed directly to issue 208 of Bulletin, the Christchurch Art Gallery's magazine, and the leading gallery magazine in New Zealand. My work included designing the front cover, inside cover, and the feature article “A Gathering Gravity.”
Each article required close reading and understanding before bringing it to life visually, balancing text and image placement while staying within the magazine’s established layout. This process honed my ability to translate complex content into clear, engaging design for a culturally sophisticated audience of national and international subscribers.
The design work focused on translating complex articles into clean, engaging layouts that felt true to the Bulletin style. Each piece was built around clarity, rhythm, and considered use of imagery.
